Size, structural engineering, transport, installation — at 24 m² it becomes a project that requires preparation.

Higher structural requirements

At 4 × 6 m and a 120 kg/m² snow load, the posts are carrying more than 2 tons of load. Without certified foundations, nothing works.

Transport and logistics

The slats are up to 4 m long. Travel, interim material storage, installation logistics — all of that has to be carefully planned.

More complex building permit application

Large, highly visible pergolas often end up before the building commission. That extends the permit approval time to 8–12 weeks.
