Pergola with patio heater
With a patio heater, your pergola becomes a year-round space.
Integrated infrared heaters warm you up at the push of a button — even at 5 °C. No portable heater, no gas, no extra power outlet: everything is integrated into the pergola structure.
From October onwards, it gets unpleasant
Without warmth, the patio summer ends in September.
The sun no longer lasts, the wind turns chilly, and the evenings grow short.
Mobile patio heaters are impractical
Repositioning, setting up, changing the gas cylinder, running cables. Every time it’s a hassle — so they’re rarely actually used.
Gas patio heaters are loud
The ignition mechanism, the hissing—mood ruined. Plus the smell and CO2 emissions right above the guests.
House sockets limited at the bottom
Electric mobile floodlights require 3 kW. The socket on the house is often just barely sufficient, and cables stretched across the patio are dangerous.
Patio heaters extend your usable season by 3–4 months.
Integrated radiant heaters
Installed invisibly. Quiet. Efficient.
The patio heaters are integrated into the pergola structure. You barely see them, but you feel them immediately.
-
Radiant heat — warms people, not the air Unlike gas patio heaters: radiant heat works instantly on skin and surfaces. You’ll feel warm after 30 seconds, even at 5 °C.
-
Silent & odor-free No pilot light, no humming. The heater warms quietly — perfect for sociable evenings.
-
Via remote control / app Switch on and off via remote control or via app (with Pro). Compatible with Neighbor.

1.5–3 kW per heater. With 2 hours of use per evening and 30 evenings per autumn: approx. 180 kWh = approx. CHF 35 in electricity. Very manageable.
From 2 spotlights onwards, we recommend a separate 16A line. We work with Swiss electricians who take care of this as part of the pergola installation.
Yes. We always plan the electrical conduit runs as part of the pergola installation. Retrofitting a heater then takes 2–3 hours.
From CHF 650 per spotlight (incl. installation and connection). For 3 x 3 m, one is usually enough; for 4 x 6 m, we recommend two.
