The pergola roof is fully motorised and can be opened and closed seamlessly. Operation is quiet and precise – ideal for creating the perfect balance of light, shade and ventilation at any time.

Integrated LED and RGB lighting

Weather-resistant RGB LED strips are integrated into the pergola frame, shining in all colours and individually controllable. The louvres themselves feature warm-white LED lighting that creates a pleasant, atmospheric glow. Both the RGB lighting in the frame and the warm-white light in the louvres are fully dimmable – controlled via app, voice command or remote control.

Robust aluminium construction with powder coating

The entire frame is made of durable, corrosion-free aluminium. The matte powder coating not only delivers an elegant look, but also makes the pergola completely maintenance-free.

Wind and snow load resistance

The pergola is engineered for maximum strength: it withstands wind speeds of up to 120 km/h and is certified for a snow load of up to 100 kg/m². It remains stable and safe even in extreme weather.

Innovative water drainage system

Rainwater is channelled by the angled louvres into the surrounding gutters and then drained downwards invisibly through the hollow sections of the posts. No puddles, no drip edges, no standing water.

Electrical connection & power requirements

Connection is via a standard 230V line. The technology is weather-protected to the IP65 standard, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. Depending on usage, power consumption is around 150–200 watts during operation.

Smart home compatibility

All pergola functions can be conveniently controlled via app or voice assistant. Supported platforms include Tuya, Smart Life, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Home. Blinds, light colours, brightness, louvre position and timers can also be individually programmed.

Accessory compatibility

The pergola can be equipped with various add-ons: motorised blinds, side glass walls, louvre walls, patio heaters and weather sensors. Motorised blinds can also be conveniently controlled via app.

All functions – louvers, lighting, RGB, blinds – can be conveniently controlled via remote control or app. Timer control and scene programs are also available.

Once we have received the deposit, we typically deliver your pergola within 2–3 business days. Delivery is by freight carrier with a tail lift to the curbside. The driver will call you about 30 minutes before arrival.

If the pergola you want is in stock, delivery usually takes place within 2–3 business days. You can find the current availability directly on the relevant product page under the price.

In general, all standard pergolas as well as the matching accessories are available from stock. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us via live chat, by phone, or by email – we’ll help you right away.

For custom-made pergolas, the current lead time is approx. 3 to 3.5 months, as these are produced individually to your specifications.

Your pergola will be delivered reliably by our logistics partner Planzer. You will be contacted by phone in advance to arrange a suitable delivery date. In addition, the driver will get in touch about 1–2 hours before arrival so you can prepare for the delivery.

The pergola is delivered on a pallet in several packages. Each package weighs approx. 45–55 kg. Please make sure you are on site at the agreed time and can assist the driver with unloading. A liftgate is usually available; however, a helping hand is required to place the goods on your property.

With us, you can conveniently pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, TWINT, and all common credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. In Switzerland, we also offer the option to pay for your purchase by invoice or in up to ten flexible monthly instalments via PowerPay. Yes, payment after receipt of the goods is possible – in Switzerland, we offer this via PowerPay as an invoice purchase or instalment payment in up to 10 monthly instalments. Please note that PowerPay assigns individual credit limits, which can typically be around CHF 4,000 to 5,000. This limit is set directly by PowerPay, and we have no influence over it.

With Sky Pergola side blinds, louvered walls, or glass walls, the sides can be flexibly enclosed and wind effectively reduced – for even more comfort in any weather.

Depending on the model, our Sky Pergola models are designed for snow loads between 50 kg/m² and 150 kg/m². In alpine regions or during heavy snowfall, we recommend leaving the louvers open so the snow can fall through unobstructed and no excessive load builds up on the roof.

Our Sky Pergola models are engineered to be exceptionally robust and, depending on the model, can withstand wind speeds of up to 220 km/h. This ensures maximum stability and safety even in extreme weather conditions.

Yes—when the louvered roof is fully closed, the interior stays reliably dry. The water is guided via the louvers into the integrated gutter system and from there is channelled down in a controlled way through the posts. This way, you can enjoy maximum comfort under your Sky Pergola even in the rain.

The standard height of the Sky Pergola is 250 cm. With the louvers open, an additional approx. 8 cm is added, making the total height in the open position approx. 258 cm.

No, the Sky Pergola is fundamentally a maintenance-free product. However, to ensure the maximum service life of all moving parts, we still recommend, depending on usage, lightly lubricating them in spring before putting it into operation.

The standard colour for our pergolas is anthracite (RAL 7016); this option is usually available immediately from stock.

White (RAL 9016) is also available, however with the corresponding lead time.

For custom-made pergolas, all RAL colours are available on request, for an additional colour surcharge of CHF 1'500.

Yes, we offer a 10-year warranty on the availability of spare parts. However, with our high-quality Sky Pergola models, it is very unlikely that spare parts will be needed at all. The construction is robust and designed for a long service life. If a spare part is ever needed, our customer service team is available to assist you at any time.

Our Sky Pergola models are made of rustproof, powder-coated aluminium. This high-quality material is completely weather-resistant and requires hardly any maintenance. Unlike steel or timber constructions, the material can neither rust nor weather. The pergola is designed for long-term use of more than 30 years.

We offer professional trimming of pergola posts for standard models through our local metal fabricator. The price for this service is CHF 500.

If longer posts are required, they must be ordered separately.

Please note that only pergolas and side roller blinds can be trimmed in this way. Side elements such as louvre walls or glass walls cannot be modified.

Our trained Sky Pergola installation team has already professionally installed over 1'200 pergolas in Switzerland. We are happy to offer this service throughout Switzerland and take care of the complete installation for you.

DIY installation is still straightforward – our pergolas are intentionally designed so that you can carry out the assembly yourself. Many of our customers choose self-installation and save significant costs as a result, because professional installations in Switzerland can quickly become expensive. If you have any questions, we will of course support you at any time.

5–6 hours, depending on DIY skills and the number of people involved. So far, all of our customers have managed the installation without any issues, and our customer service is always available if you have any questions.

To achieve the maximum wind load, we recommend installing reinforced spot footings with dimensions of 50x50x50 cm (length x width x depth). The pergola can then be anchored into the footings.

Alternatively, the Sky Pergolas can also be screwed directly into terrace surfaces such as stone slabs or wooden decking boards. However, the maximum wind load is then lower, depending on the design of your terrace surface.

Whether a building permit is required in Switzerland depends on the respective municipality. Regulations are applied differently, which is why we recommend always checking directly with the municipal administration.

For smaller pergola sizes, no building permit is required in many municipalities. For larger pergolas, a simplified building permit application is generally required, which usually includes the signatures of the immediate neighbours.

If you wish, we will be happy to take care of this step for you – our team will submit the fully prepared permit application to your municipality. The cost for this service is CHF 500.

No, a slope on the patio is generally not required to ensure the pergola’s water drainage. Our Sky pergolas feature an integrated drainage system in which water is guided in a controlled manner via the slats into the internal gutters and then down through the posts.

For pergolas without side elements such as glass walls or slatted walls, a slight slope of up to 1% in the flooring is not an issue.

However, if side walls are to be installed, it is important that the surface is perfectly level so the walls close correctly and can move smoothly. A sloped floor can lead to functional issues.

Sky Pergola side screens are height-adjustable sun and privacy protection solutions that also provide additional protection against light wind and rain. They are available in both manual and motorized versions and feature an integrated zip guide that secures the fabric at the sides and ensures stable, taut guidance – even in windy conditions.

The ZIP function ensures that the fabric is securely tensioned in the side guide rails of the pergola posts, similar to a zipper. Especially in windy conditions, this technology offers a clear advantage, as the blind remains stable and does not slip out of the guides. Ideal for terraces that are regularly exposed to wind.

Yes, you can retrofit one or more Sky Pergola side blinds at any time. Retrofitting is possible on all sides, even at a later stage.

For made-to-measure pergolas, however, we recommend planning the side blinds in directly when placing the order, as a later reorder is associated with a delivery time of 3 to 4 months.

Sky Pergola blinds with ZIP function are suitable for slightly stronger winds. However, in strong winds we always recommend fully retracting the screens to avoid damage.

You can add a range of practical accessories to your Sky Pergola to further enhance comfort and functionality. These include fixed or sliding louvre walls as side privacy and wind protection, elegant glass walls for transparent weather protection, and side blinds that can be operated manually or by motor, depending on your preference. For pleasant temperatures even on cooler days, infrared heaters can be installed, while fans provide better air circulation on hot summer days. In addition, a rain sensor can be integrated to automatically close the louvres when rain starts. This turns your Sky Pergola into an outdoor retreat you can enjoy all year round.
