Innovative drainage system

Rainwater is guided by the angled louvers into the surrounding gutters and then invisibly drained down through the hollow spaces inside the posts. No puddles, no drip edges, no standing water.

Electrical connection & energy requirements

Connection is via a standard 230V line. The technology is weather-protected to the IP65 standard, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. Depending on usage, power consumption is around 150–200 watts during operation.

Smart home compatibility

All pergola functions can be conveniently controlled via app or voice assistant. Supported platforms include Tuya, Smart Life, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Home. Blinds, light colors, brightness, louver position, and timers can also be individually programmed.

Accessory compatibility

The pergola can be equipped with various add-ons: motorized blinds, side glass walls, louver walls, radiant heaters, and weather sensors. Motorized blinds can also be conveniently controlled via app.

All functions – louvers, lighting, RGB, blinds – can be conveniently controlled via remote control or app. Time scheduling and scene programs are also available.

After we receive the deposit, we usually deliver your pergola within 2–3 business days. Delivery is carried out by a freight carrier with a liftgate to the curbside. The driver will call you about 30 minutes before arrival.

If the pergola you want is in stock, delivery usually takes place within 2–3 business days. You can find current availability directly on the relevant product page under the price.

As a rule, all standard pergolas as well as the matching accessories are available from stock. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us via live chat, by phone, or by email—we’ll help you right away.

For made-to-measure pergolas, the current delivery time is approx. 3 to 3.5 months, as they are produced individually to your specifications.

The delivery of your pergola is handled reliably by our logistics partner Planzer. You will be contacted in advance by phone to arrange a suitable delivery date. In addition, the driver will get in touch around 1–2 hours before arrival so you can prepare for the delivery.

The pergola is delivered on a pallet in several packages. Each package weighs approx. 45–55 kg. Please make sure you are on site at the agreed time and can assist the driver with unloading. A tail lift is usually available; however, an extra pair of hands is required to place the goods on your property.

With Sky Pergola side blinds, louvered walls, or glass walls, the sides can be closed flexibly and wind can be effectively reduced – for even more comfort in any weather.

Depending on the model, our Sky Pergola models are designed for snow loads between 50 kg/m² and 150 kg/m². In alpine regions or in the event of heavy snowfall, we recommend leaving the louvers open so the snow can fall through unhindered and no excessive load builds up on the roof.

Our Sky Pergola models are engineered to be especially robust and, depending on the model, can withstand wind speeds of up to 220 km/h. This means they offer maximum stability and safety even in extreme weather conditions.

Yes—when the louvered roof is fully closed, the interior stays reliably dry. The water is directed via the louvers into the integrated gutter system and from there is channeled down in a controlled way through the posts. This way, you can enjoy maximum comfort under your Sky Pergola even when it rains.

The standard height of the Sky Pergola is 250 cm. With the louvers open, an additional approx. 8 cm is added, so the overall height in the open position is approx. 258 cm.

No, the Sky Pergola is generally a maintenance-free product. However, to maximise the service life of all moving parts, we still recommend lightly lubricating them in spring before first use, depending on how often they are used.

The standard colour for our pergolas is anthracite (RAL 7016); this option is usually available immediately from stock.

White (RAL 9016) is also available, but with the corresponding delivery lead time.

For custom-made pergolas, all RAL colours are available on request for a colour surcharge of CHF 1'500.

Yes, we offer a 10-year guarantee on the availability of spare parts. With our premium Sky Pergola models, however, it is very unlikely that spare parts will be needed at all. The construction is robust and designed for a long service life. If a spare part is ever needed, our customer service is available to you at any time.

Our Sky Pergola models are made of stainless, powder-coated aluminium. This premium material is completely weatherproof and requires very little maintenance. Unlike steel or timber structures, the material can neither rust nor weather. The pergola is designed for long-lasting use of over 30 years.

We offer a professional shortening of the pergola posts for standard models through our local metalworker. The price for this service is CHF 500.

If longer posts are required, they must be ordered separately.

Please note that only pergolas and side screens can be shortened in this way. Side elements such as louvered walls or glass walls cannot be adjusted.

Our trained Sky Pergola installation team has already professionally installed over 1'200 pergolas in Switzerland. We are happy to offer this service nationwide and take care of the complete installation for you.

Self-installation is still easily possible – our pergolas are deliberately designed so that the assembly can also be done by you. Many of our customers choose self-installation and save considerable costs, because professional installations in Switzerland can quickly become expensive. If you have any questions, we will of course be happy to support you at any time.

5–6 hours, depending on DIY skill level and the number of people involved. So far, all of our customers have managed the assembly without any issues, and our customer service is always available if you have any questions.

To achieve the maximum wind load, we recommend installing reinforced point foundations with dimensions of 50x50x50 cm (length x width x depth). The pergola can then be anchored to the foundations.

Alternatively, the Sky Pergolas can also be screwed directly into terrace surfaces such as stone slabs or wooden decking. In this case, however, the maximum wind load is lower, depending on the dimensions of your terrace surface.

In Switzerland, whether a planning application is required depends on the municipality. Regulations are handled differently, which is why we recommend always checking directly with the municipal administration.

For smaller pergola sizes, no planning application is required in many municipalities. For larger pergolas, a simplified planning application is generally required, which usually includes the signatures of the immediate neighbours.

If you wish, we are happy to take care of this step for you – our team will submit the fully prepared planning application to your municipality. The cost for this service is CHF 500.

No, a slope on the terrace is generally not required to ensure the pergola’s drainage. Our Sky pergolas feature an integrated drainage system in which water is guided in a controlled way via the louvers into the internal gutters and then down through the posts.

For pergolas without side elements such as glass or louvered walls, a slight slope of up to 1% in the floor is not an issue.

However, if side walls are to be installed, it is important that the subfloor is perfectly level so the walls close properly and can move smoothly. A sloping floor can cause malfunctions here.

Sky Pergola side blinds are height-adjustable sun-shading and privacy solutions that also provide protection from light wind and rain. They are available in both manual and motorized versions and feature an integrated zip guide that secures the fabric at the sides and ensures stable, taut guidance – even in windy conditions.

The ZIP function ensures that the fabric is tensioned firmly into the side guide rails of the pergola posts, much like a zipper. Especially in windy conditions, this technology offers a clear advantage, as the blind remains stable and does not slip out of the guide. Ideal for terraces that are regularly exposed to wind.

Yes, you can retrofit one or more Sky Pergola side roller blinds at any time. Retrofitting is possible on all sides, even later on.

However, for custom-made pergolas, we recommend planning the side roller blinds in from the outset when placing your order, as ordering them later involves a delivery time of 3 to 4 months.

Sky Pergola blinds with ZIP function are suitable for somewhat stronger winds. However, in strong winds we always recommend fully retracting the screens to prevent damage.

You can add a range of practical accessories to your Sky Pergola to further enhance comfort and functionality. These include fixed or sliding louvre walls for side privacy and wind protection, elegant glass walls for transparent weather protection, as well as side blinds that can be operated manually or by motor, depending on your preference. For pleasant temperatures even on cooler days, infrared heaters can be installed, while fans provide better air circulation on hot summer days. In addition, a rain sensor can be integrated, which automatically closes the louvres when rain starts. This turns your Sky Pergola into a year-round outdoor retreat.
